A busy week at the Pretty Shabby Workshop...

Four new pieces are now ready for sale - 

Do you need a writing desk or maybe a dressing table in your bedroom? Well what about this stunning piece? Hand painted featuring eye catching crystal knobs.

The central engraving has been highlighted using a silver gilding wax.

Maybe you in need of a new dining set? Here we have a lovely round table with four chairs.

The top has been sanded and waxed with the base and chairs all hand painted.

What about a new console table. Here we have a nice solid piece.

The top has been sanded and waxed to highlight the lovely butchers block style.

Finally we have a pine dresser featuring a sanded top and stunning modern handles.

Help Support 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month!'

As you are probably aware every October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year it has taken on greater meaning to my family and I as we lost the most amazing Mother, Nanny and friend to Metastatic Breast Cancer in February of this year. To honour her and raise funds for breast cancer research my daughter Kara and I have been busy 'Pretty-Shabbying' a set of bedside drawers. The piece is truly unique featuring a a 'Pretty-Shabby' hand mixed paint colour, this is not available to buy. Each of the three knobs has a unique decoupage finish and as a final touch each drawer is lined with pretty scented paper.

'Country Chic' Bedside Cabinets

Available now; two gorgeous solid pine bedside cabinets. These are beautifully made featuring dovetail joints. We have sanded back and waxed the tops and painted them using Annie Sloan ' Country Grey'.

One of the units benefits from having a useful cupboard with an internal shelf.

Fresh off the Pretty-Shabby production line...

Available for purchase are these beautiful Bedside Cabinets. They have been painted with '1829 Regency White' to given a smooth and chic finish. For that extra sparkle I have added crystal knobs to the drawers.

Locks of London Dresser

Just finished is this gorgeous dresser by 'Locks of London'. 

This particular dresser benefits from having some intricate carvings and authentic lead glass. 

For this piece I used Annie Sloan's 'French Linen'. To add some real character to the dresser I also lightly distressed it and used wax to really bring out the beautiful details.
